PTE Academic is listed as an approved test equivalent to the university's IELTS Academic requirement. The pages publish one PTE figure for undergraduate and one for postgraduate, stated as equivalent to the general IELTS minimum (6.0/5.5 undergraduate, 6.5/6.0 postgraduate). Programme pages may state higher IELTS scores, and the pages say some Arts and Education, Education and Social Work programmes may not accept alternative tests or need extra evidence; no PTE figure is published for those programmes on the pages read. PTE Academic Online, PTE Core and UKVI are not mentioned on the pages read.
Pearson's own rules on validity are in our PTE score validity guide. Compare tests in PTE Academic vs Core vs UKVI.
