Good to know before you apply
- ECU accepts PTE Academic and PTE Academic UKVI, but not PTE Academic Online.
- General entry is 52 (bachelor) and 58 (postgraduate), each with no skill below 50.
- Nursing, midwifery and several allied health courses use Band 5, with PTE figures that changed for tests taken from 23 April 2026.
What to practise for ECU
The highest single-skill minimum on this page is 76 in Speaking, set by the Band 5 nursing, midwifery, osteopathy, occupational therapy and paramedical science courses (tests taken from 23 April 2026) row. Practise that first if it is also near your weakest score.
